Lies…

Fabric,

Lacy,

Woven with practiced dexterity,

Yarn spun in a blur of speed

Eyelashes lowered in total devotion,

Confidence intact,

A spiders web perfect gossamer designs

Camouflaging the sticky strands in between,

Black or white,

Hues graded,

Colors invisible,

Non-existent within the spectrum of,

Truth,

Fibers,

Figments of imagination,

Like the warmth of wool,

Spread across my eyes,

Lies…

FULL CIRCLE
No way

Even in this foggy state of euphoria, not unlike suspended animation, the only regular occurrences being punctual-repeated recurrences of deja` vu.

I see the boringly mundane prophets/pundits and seers conjuring predictably surprising ways and unpredictable means to appease or at-the-least please, bohemian disdainful maniacs in a feverish dervish.

We mean not what we say and say not what we think, dawn to dusk and night & day, shhhssh! Walls have ears and shoes 'ave tongues. Hey, hey, hay!   I say- the games that delinquents play, shall fool the deranged nor the insane-----No way, NO WAY.

BMI vs: Brain volume

By no stretch of imagination do I consider myself a scientist. Frankly not even a science stream student.

Last having learnt Math in high school, which was about 36 summers ago, I cannot claim to be a mathematician.

As a diabetic I do have to keep a check on my BMI, which I do with a Nelson’s eye.

In my pursuit of educating myself about the connect ‘atween Health and Weight, I stumbled upon some humbling facts.

Dravid vs. Sachin

Perfect technique vs. Sweet skill

Optimum BMI vs. Definitely overweight

Sheer dedication vs. Divine blessings

Normal BMI: Brain volume vs. Optimal ratio

Now comes the painful part. How much of our resources do we utilize?

As one great soul put it,” I am but a child, playing on the beach abutting the ocean of knowledge and just picking up grains of sand”! Tymerri

To see a world in a grain of sand ‘

And a heaven in a wild flower,

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand’

And eternity in an hour. William Blake

All I can say after five decades of existence is that, in the pursuit of perfection, performance counts, not your pride.
